Susan has been described as one of those go-to kind of employees that you can count on to help with anything, any time. She takes on work without complaining, jumps into leadership roles whenever required, and constantly seeks to improve her knowledge and skills to remain valuable team members, and with a positive attitude no matter what.
Susan has been with their City of Plano for 23 years, moving from a Permit Technician role to a Plans Examiner, taking on more and more responsibility and helping to write a sign ordinance along the way. She has been assigned some of the largest major developments not just in their city, but in the entire Metroplex, and has done so in such a professional way to impress many in the development community. She has been described as having “continuously shown initiative, leadership and dedication to her craft”, and that she is “always willing to help her peers no matter how busy she is or how intense the workload.” This has all made her “quite knowledgeable and a valued employee for our department and the City of Plano.”
Meagan Kasson is a Senior at UT Arlington, majoring in Elementary Education.
